Developing a Practice of Spiritual Intuition

First and Third Saturdays, 1-2:30 PM, starting June 1, 2024

$10 per session.

Participants will learn to use spiritual intuition to bring healing to the various forms of suffering we as human beings experience.  It is about consciously opening oneself up to greater awareness, which some call Higher Self. With practice, we can live more and more frequently in this place of inner knowing, leading to a greater sense of harmony and well-being.

We will discuss and experience hands-on the various tools and practices for connecting with our spiritual intuition for the purpose of creating a sense of well-being and purpose in our lives.

We will consciously create a supportive community so each of us can experience spiritual growth at our own pace and in our own way. The only requirement is to be open and receptive to the learning process, with an intention to be kind in word and deed.

There will be no specific religious doctrine taught, as we will learn from a variety of sources, including but not exclusively; Buddhist teachings, Christian mysticism, intuition teachings, dream related teachings, Tarot and Oracle traditions, and Shamanic Earth-based teachings.

Every class will include meditation and other spiritual practices, such as affirmations, prayers of intention, and mindfulness exercises. We may have guest speakers or other practitioners share their wisdom and gifts.

This will be a bi-weekly course, the first and third Saturday of each month, from 1:00 to 2:30 pm. The cost will be $10 per class. (Cash preferred, but Zelle accepted.) Please check in 5-10 minutes prior to 1 so we can start on time.

The class will be an hour and a half in length. It would be beneficial to attend regularly, but there is no requirement to commit to a series of classes. Just show up.

On her spiritual journey, Shari earned a Doctor of Metaphysics degree and a Minister’s license from the Metaphysical Fellowship Church in Anaheim, became a licensed Science of Mind practitioner in a program led by Dr Michael Beck with at the Agape Spiritual Center in Culver City, became certified in Advanced Tarot Card Reading by Sal Jade, is a Level 2 Reiki practitioner, founded the monthly Intuitive Arts Fair at UMS Church in Long Beach, and regularly provides intuitive oracle and tarot card readings at in-person events, and online. Over three decades, she’s studied many spiritual systems, and developed a practice for connecting and communing with her higher self. She also has 30 years experience as a primary public school teacher.
